Same Sex Marriage Should Be Legal in All States When you see the word marriage, what do you see or think of? Majorities of Americans will see a man and a woman together. Thatââ¬â¢s because it is a tradition that marriage is between a man and a woman. Wouldnââ¬â¢t it be nice if everyone could marry the love of their life? Unfortunately, same sex marriage is banned in thirty-two states and only legalized in eighteen states. So why canââ¬â¢t gay and lesbian couples marry each other? Same sex marriage is protected by the Constitutionââ¬â¢s commitments to liberty and equality, but it is still banned in many states. This political issue is one of the biggest issues that people have been fighting for the longest for their rights to marry the same sex. Just because they are the same sex, it doesnââ¬â¢t make much of a difference between a man and a woman. Both can still love each other the same as a straight couple and raise children the same so why are all these people against it? If homosexual couples can work together the same as heterosexual couples, then same sex marriage should be legalize in all states. I strongly believe that same sex marriage should be legalized in all states. It is nobodyââ¬â¢s business if there are two men, two women, or a man and a woman who are in love and wants to get married and wants to legalize it and start a family together.
